Assalamualaikum to all readers. So, as I told at my previous blog in a few week ago, the day has come for me to create another page of mine that I will totally use English as the major language.
The purpose that I’m going to create this English oriented blog does not mean I ashamed writing in Malay, not because I’m ignorant, or I feel unsophisticated and not modern; but in my head, I just only want to challenge myself doing something unusual in my ordinary life.
Of course, writing in English is quite difficult to me especially I’m never born and live in English culture. But, it’s okay to me. I’ve to force myself to speak and write with this terrorist language. As my last sem English lecturer said, everyone must read an article a day and write about anything at least a paragraph a day. It will make our brain work to produce out some output. Then, we will be more analytical, innovative, and aggressive person.
Mastering every skill of English is essential nowadays in order to compete others in various fields in our life. In term of economic or business for example, we should know the terms which related if our business are going worldwide. Or do you think that Chinese will speak Melayu to you if you want to open a new branch in their country during the negotiation? If Chinese negotiate to you with Melayu, then you are very lucky person, indeed.
We should understand, mastering English does not mean us neglecting Bahasa Melayu. Honestly, I also hate English, but we have no choice in order to rise up our ummah condition especially our economic and entrepreneurship. We have to go global. We have to gain name and fame, and we have to make and realize The West that we are not weak anymore.
Furthermore, in this blog also, I will share anything I’ve got during my lectures session; and topics that mostly will be written here are about muamalat related issues, as now I’m major in muamalat administration. In brief, this blog will seem as my online revision.
You know, for your information, writing in English is not very difficult right now. Do you know why? Hehe. Before I post this entry, I type in first at word, so, if I do wrong in grammar or spelling, system will automatically inform me by underlining the false grammar and spelling with red, green and blue. Then, I will know what I have mistaken and at the same time I learn from it. But, don’t you put your full trust to system, because sometimes system also is not the right at all.
Okay, that’s all for the first post of my second blog. I hope that readers will support me by giving an innovative, great idea and surely benefit to Islam and our hereafter life.
